Landing craft to UAE | Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi cargo
For landing-craft freight to the UAE, distinguish the delivery city—Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi—from the entry terminal. Vessel, ramp, cargo and customs acceptance are voyage-specific; published RoRo facilities do not establish a fixed Barnav service from Iran.

State the exact terminal and handover point
A Dubai destination can mean a port, a free-zone warehouse or a mainland site. Identify the approved entry terminal and final delivery. Do not confuse similarly named Al Hamriya in Dubai and Hamriyah in Sharjah; verify the actual location and operator in the proposal.
What official facilities information proves
AD Ports describes RoRo and general-cargo facilities at Khalifa Port. Target Engineering has published an example landing craft in its fleet. Neither establishes an Iran sailing schedule, current charter availability or a Barnav operating agreement.
Machinery and project-cargo assessment
Send piece dimensions and weights, centre of gravity, axle loads, mobility and securing points. Declare fuel, batteries or other relevant materials. Check the inland route and site access as well as the vessel operation.
Compare sea transport options
Compare landing craft, RoRo, container or project-shipping options on an equal scope. For temperature-sensitive cargo, agree energy supply, waiting periods, records and handover conditions rather than assuming the vessel type preserves the cold chain.
Dubai Customs and free-zone procedures
Dubai Customs explains business registration, declarations and authorized clearance. Free-zone-to-mainland movements and restricted goods can require different steps. Obtain current requirements from the authorized receiver or broker for the selected emirate and cargo.
UAE rate and timing checklist
Separate Iranian inland transport, origin handling, sea freight, securing, destination charges, clearance, waiting, insurance and final delivery. Agree validity, currency and charging unit. A short sea crossing does not guarantee same-day warehouse delivery.
Submit a UAE enquiry
Give Barnav support the cargo file, readiness date and final site. If a terminal is undecided, ask for an options review. An enquiry is not a reservation or a claim of guaranteed vessel capacity.
Compare UAE landing-craft proposals
Compare prices only for matching collection/delivery points, cargo and services. These are quotation questions, not tariffs or mandatory charges for every voyage.
| Quote component | Question before acceptance |
|---|---|
| Collection and Iranian inland leg | Which collection point, vehicle, loading and waiting are covered? |
| Origin handling and securing | Who plans and performs ramp/crane handling and securing? |
| Sea leg | Which vessel, ports, rate validity and charging unit apply? |
| Destination, clearance and final delivery | Does it end at the port yard or warehouse; are unloading and final transport included? |
| Waiting, delay and sensitive cargo | What is the waiting-charge basis and who maintains required conditions at each stage? |
Frequently asked questions
Which port serves a landing-craft shipment to Dubai?
The actual origin and entry terminal depend on cargo, vessel acceptance and the final handover point; the city name alone is insufficient.
Are Al Hamriya Dubai and Hamriyah Sharjah the same?
No. Verify the specific port, terminal and operator rather than relying on similar names.
Is there a fixed rate to Sharjah?
No. Piece data, ports, operations, readiness and inland delivery scope determine the quotation.
Does Khalifa RoRo infrastructure prove an Iran service?
No. Facilities and approval of a particular voyage are different.
